Scholarship Places

I want the British English Pronunciation Roadmap to be accessible to serious learners who are committed to improving their pronunciation.

I also recognise that the standard course fee can represent a very different level of expense depending on someone’s personal circumstances, local income levels, exchange rates and the cost of living where they are based.

For this reason, I am making a limited number of discounted scholarship places available for this intake.

Scholarship price

The standard price of the British English Pronunciation Roadmap is £265 (all prices are GBP).

Successful scholarship applicants can enrol for: £159

If you would also like the Coaching Add-On, you can purchase the combined course and coaching option for: £434

This includes the same £106 scholarship reduction on the course itself. The Coaching Add-On is not discounted.

How many scholarship places are available?

There are 10 scholarship places available for this intake.

Applications will be considered individually and places will remain available until all 10 have been allocated.

Submitting an application does not guarantee that a scholarship place will be offered.

Who are the scholarship places for?

These places are intended for learners who:

  • would genuinely find the standard £265 course fee difficult or impossible to afford;

  • feel that their financial circumstances, local income levels, or the economic conditions where they live make the standard price a significant barrier;

  • are serious about improving their British English pronunciation; and

  • intend to work through the course and make proper use of the opportunity.

Applications are welcome from learners in any country.

You do not need to be experiencing extreme financial hardship to apply. The purpose of the scholarship is simply to make the Roadmap more accessible to learners for whom the standard price represents a genuinely significant expense.

Who should not apply?

Please do not apply for a scholarship place if you can reasonably afford the standard course fee.

The scholarship is not a general promotion or a way of obtaining the course at the lowest possible price. It is intended for people who would otherwise find it difficult to take part.

Scholarship places are for the individual applicant only and cannot be transferred to somebody else.
